If you need to speak Ukrainian or English for admission or study and your knowledge of these languages is insufficient, you can take a preparatory course in a year. At the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens, you will be helped to study both the language for communication and the fundamental disciplines required for university admission: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Classes at the Preparatory Department can begin at any month of the academic year as groups of 15 people are formed; the duration of the course is 10 months. After successful completion of the Preparatory Department, you will receive a State Certificate, which gives you the right to enter both Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and any higher education institution in Ukraine».
